My name is Llama Ann, and I my identity is a multitude. In no particular order, I am a thinker and learner—hello PhD, Pilates, and many crafts. A runner and all around nature enthusiast. I am a parent and a partner (without a broader family support network). A voracious reader of all sorts of books. An animal lover. I am a victim of abuse*. I eat healthy for me, most of the time, and I enjoy sweets. I am not religious, but I appreciate and value ritual. I am a planner and organizer, which has served me well in school and my career. I try to be empathetic, but I miss things and have missteps that I continually aim back to my values. I am always growing. I feel like I am thriving.
People most often say I am calm and able to hold space and offer support in times of stress.
Personality tests yield descriptors like: introvert, disciplined, sensing, conscientious, competitive, and trusting.
